Singing a song Holy Name's bilingual choir uses music as a bridge to cultural exploration

- Holy Name’s choir group had the opportunity to share their love of bilingual music and showcase their Spanish skills as they traveled to Jackson last month, where they sang at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.
- The group sang at the 7 p.m. Spanish Mass and were also able to enjoy Wyoming wildlife as they visited Teton National Park.
- Spanish teacher Maria Montaño believes the trip gave the six students an opportunity to interact with a different culture.

Conservation district water quality monitoring season begins

- Since 1996, the conservation district has been collecting water quality information from multiple water bodies within Sheridan County.
- Monitoring occurs on a rotation among the Tongue River, Goose Creek and Prairie Dog Creek watersheds.
- Monitoring in the Goose Creek watershed was last completed in 2021.
